Menu translations are hilarious, but this does sound like an LLM mistook “chicken pops” for an eggcorn of “chicken pox” and described it accordingly, though it may not necessarily be the restaurant that used the LLM. It could also be an auto-generated summary from a search engine, for example.

Yeah, disliking the format is one thing, but it’s used correctly in this case.
Or the ones where people point out how inconsistent JS is with adding strings to numbers.
Yeah, maybe don’t do arithmetic on numbers as strings?
This is beyond my comprehension.

The other big one I can think of is that alcohol is referred to as “Juice”
I love how the complexity of life is taken as evidence of intelligent design, since that falls apart if you look at it more than a few seconds. My favorite example is the recurrent laryngeal nerve, which loops down your neck and comes back up for no good reason. Better yet, it’s the same for giraffes, which means they have a massively long nerve that goes all the way up and down its neck just 'cause. If an electrician wired something like that, their fellow workers would call them anything but intelligent.
Final Freeza did look like a pair of Airpods, ngl
Peggy makes me so mad. She’s exactly the sort of person who would correct her students incorrectly, and be smug about it too.
See, that’s the thing. Pickle Rick was funny because he went through all that bullshit just to avoid going to therapy. The show was making an excellent point about how stigmatized therapy is, and how bettering yourself is hard work, work many people just don’t want to do. (Basically, “men would rather turn themselves into pickles than go to therapy.”)
Of course, any actual nuance is lost on the “high IQ” R&M fans. I’ve always seen Rick as similar to Eric Cartman or the Joker: if you idolize him, you missed the point.
Give it a nibble. You might like it.
Yeeeeeaaaaah, when I read the bit about narrow talking points being allowed, I knew the author was either going to have a good point about Reddit’s tendency to circlejerk, or be a bigoted piece of shit. Not really shocked it’s the latter.
And whose fault is that?
