Say a comment is reported: the reporter’s admins, the commentator admins, the community admins and the community mods are all alerted at it’s most complicated scenario.

I wish that was true. But in the very common scenario of remotely modding a community you basically never get reports.

This is literally false. When you report a comment the report is visible to the moderators of the comm in which the report was made to, and to the instance admins which that comm is hosted on.

User on instance A makes a comment in community C which is hosted on instance D and reported by a user on instance E

      • Admin.A gets the report
      • Admin.D gets the report
      • Admin.E gets the report
      • Mods.C gets the report

Small caveat: Mods C only get the report if they are users of instance D.

Pretty big flaw in the system imo. That’s why you’ll see mods like Blaze with a ton of alt accounts across multiple instances.
