Does this follow the general definition of casualty being either killed, wounded, missing in action, or taken prisoner?

When it comes to counts of Russian losses provided by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (like here), Wikipedia has the following note:

[g]Including killed, captured, missing and wounded. Possibility of double-counting, as some soldiers could have been counted two or three times: as wounded, as captured, and then as killed.[100]

[100]Olga Ivshina (12 June 2025). “Россия потеряла миллион военных, заявили ВСУ. Так ли это?” [Russia lost a million troops, the Ukrainian Armed Forces said. Is this true?]. BBC News Русская Служба [BBC Russian Service]. Retrieved 12 June 2025.)
