I was trying to set up win 11 laptop for my mom and ran into S mode, that took like an hour to walk my elderly mom through the steps to disable it so I could remote in. Finally gave up and grab a MS approved remote desktop app to remote in a disable the S mode, its s for Shit. Of course the other remote desktop app crashed. Sorry family, no more windows PCs for you

Ms swift key and some others. After half a dozen I just kind of gave up. After going through this thread I am now trying out heliboard. But it also suggests gibberish.

I use Gboard and I absolutely loathe it. It constantly suggests words that are not words, and if I remove them, they don’t actually get removed. I’m constantly minimizing the keyboard or recording audio and I have no clue how. I have yet to find anything better

Working at a call center and we had bonuses for people that could book the most hotel rooms (hotels.com). This one lady suddenly started winning all the bonuses day after day. This went on for almost 2 weeks. Then the FBI showed up. Turned out she was just stealing people’s CC numbers and booking them hotel rooms without them knowing.
Or the dream sequence for the cat for tongue tied.

At a federal building and the supervisor was up front chatting with a customer. The waiting room is small so I could hear everything they said. She started by talking about how Biden was a pedo then how all the vaccines have some chemical in it like bleach I can’t remember. She went on with a dozen conspiracy theories, speaking as if they were the truth and haven’t been debunked a million times already.
I bought a can opener years back that doesn’t cut the can, instead it separates the lid from the can with no sharp edges. It’s dumb but I love it.
Not sure about now, but in 98 the hostess at the restaurant I worked at found ~$200 and turned it into the police. 3 months later, no one claimed it and she got it back.
