Well that was a shot in the dark. I tried it, but the install process is slow as fuck and the amount of disk space used is questionable. See https://github.com/nix-community/nix-on-droid/issues/280#issuecomment-2365160633.
But if we skip that, it’s awesome!
Though wasn’t able to use my shell aliases right away without entering a second bash shell every fucking time. But it’s a small price to pay for salvation.
All my homies use Nix.
3·11 months agoI think the spam phone calls are to blame. I receive a ton of them and I hate it. Thankfully, most of them filtered out automatically.

Accurate. But you can’t even practically spend it.
I would recommend pdm and micromamba.
Oh, that is 100% true. The mental model (and syntax) is much, much better, but the feature set is smol (for academic and legal stuff).
Thesis is an example. I use it for any document.
I’m using it for a year and it came a long way. Though still in beta and still have some major bummers (which require hacking). But it only came out in 2023. The next update should add a ton of QoL things, so this will be pretty exciting.
I tried this plugin, I think it’s very painful to use it format. I wrote mine in Typst.
