Any vaguely political post gets hit by corpo-propaganda bots even on Lemmy. That’s why they sound like they have no idea what’s going on.

Bacano@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Where can I get news about today's 50501 protests? There seems to be frighteningly little news about this in the mainstream media.6·1 month agoEconomic black outs. They can’t ignore money.
Bacano@lemmy.worldto Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•The rise of far-right political support among the rich is partly a diversion, so that people start getting more upset at the far right than at being exploited by the rich2·2 months agoTotally. The idea being that you’ll just take whatever bullshit in the meantime because you get to vote for the controlled opposition party every 4 years.
Party of the rich vs party of the wealthy
I keep saying this cause it’s a take a lot of people gloss over. I haven’t dated in a while because I’m too broke to add anything else to my budget, dive bars included. Dating takes time and money, and if I get more of either, I’m using it to better my situation before thinking about dating.
In a time where real wealth is dwindling for most young men, I can imagine I’m not alone on this.
Hell yeah, Ponyos dad totally simps for the giant lady in the way Dark souls Miyazaki describes

You can also argue that silicon valley has that particular business model of purposely making a product look great and cheap until enough people sign up.
It’s distinct from how most companies run in the red at their inception in that those traditional businesses would gladly be in the black but are waiting for economies of scale or building a reputation among consumers.

Bacano@lemmy.worldto Greentext@sh.itjust.works•Posting the shopping cart theory because people had questions in a separate thread02·9 months agoI definitely have the unpopular opinion of disagreeing. As much as I’d like to employ manners with my grocery store, if there’s no corral within a 30 second walk from me, I don’t put the cart back. Most of my purchases are under 8 items and I usually don’t use a cart so I just carry everything by hand in the store and out.
My grocery store doesn’t care about manners on their end. It treats me like an economic unit and even makes self checkout the most reasonable option. They’d have me clean the floors as part of the checkout if they could. From a utilitarian perspective, it makes more sense for one person to gather all the carts in a batch rather than each individual going back for their individual cart.
The insurance rates thing is a legitimate point ( insurance is a racket, though. Fuck those guys too)
Blackrock owns the most shares too 🤡
