Anyway the thing I read said just look past the person, like just focus behind them and you can usually avoid this weird awkwardness. I’ve found it totally works!

I try to be open minded and give things a fair shake but when your article opens with “a guy I know compared Ukraine to the Germans in 1945” and follows up with “Russia is undefeatable therefore resistance is futile” I gotta assume I’m not looking at fair, balanced and transparent journalism. Downvoted.
