I think doxxing might be the wrong term. I thought that one of the real concerns was that this photo might be getting used without that person’s consent, like as some form of abuse. I’m not sure about it though.

What I fear more than the tech is the idea that when most jobs are replaced with it, people will still be expected to find work somehow.

I’m lazy and tend to sit around a lot. That said, I’d still take woods over beach any day. I got my camera and telephoto lens for wildlife photos, walking in the shade at a comfortable pace… That’s a good way to spend a couple hours.

I loved the time I tried to copy something on StackOverflow and a fake ad popped up for a SO-branded copy/paste device.

There’s !maliciouscompliance@lemmy.world, but it’s been dead for a while. I kinda miss reading those stories about assholes getting what they asked for.

Another that was fun reading occasionally was scambait, where people would fuck with scammers to waste as much of their time as possible. I don’t know if there’s anything like that on Lemmy.

It’s a small videogame I’ve been doing in my spare time. There’s no story or goal at the moment. I recorded a GIF a while back:

I’m a software developer, and I sometimes if I’m asked how something works, I can find it difficult to explain things in a way that would make sense to the listener, whether they are a PM or the client.

Other times, depending on the question, I simply don’t know the answer, and it could take hours for me to gain enough understanding of the project to even respond intelligently.
