My hill to die on is that breakfast is the only meal that you can work the calories off all day. Eat what you want for breakfast but have a lighter lunch and even lighter evening meal.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is the most controversial TV finale?
41·2 months agoAnd it was the most obvious ending that everyone had guessed sitting int their couch with friends or family that didn’t even need internet theories. They made it sound like they had such a clever ending and it wasn’t even close.
I think it’s incredibly likely they had no idea how to end it until they had to do a last season and they went with the most obvious ending that was deeply unsatisfying.
We were trying, yes.
Also back to your relationship question that I probably didn’t answer. I already know someone in advanced age with a kid and they have a great relationship. I haven’t even considered it. As long as I live a while longer I’m sure I’ll have a healthy relationship. I’m quite a chill person and young at heart and genuinely don’t see that as an issue.
If anything I think it might even be better! I genuinely think it will be beneficial that I’m not trying to grow up at the same time as my kid and can act as a caring and relaxed parent without any additional stress.

151·3 months agoI just don’t see the point in worrying about it. I haven’t been scared since I found out and Idon’t think I will be now that’s it’s about 4 weeks away. I’ve been too busy buying and planning things and then I’ll be too busy changing nappies.
I’m just going to get on with it and not worry about it. The good news is that I’m already waking up in the middle of the night for a pee so I’m somewhat practiced at that.

Probably not. I just check whenever the link appears here just in case.
Would love to put this on my S24 Ultra and I keep checking support regularly but nothing yet.
As someone from the UK, what the hell is going on with that price ticket? How many different numbers do you need to tell someone the price?! What a mess.

Technology@lemmy.ml•No account? No Windows 11 for you, says Microsoft
7·3 months agoI switched 5 weeks ago and it’s honestly in a much better state than I thought. I haven’t felt the need to use Windows in those 5 weeks. It feels like I’m back in 90s with full control of my computer again.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Plan for Windows 10 EOL and discounted old laptops
1·3 months agoIt was on an ASUS Z790 motherboard and if you do a search you will see a fair few examples of people experiencing similar issues. Although there are dozens of different troubleshooting steps that people have tried to resolve it. I’m currently using Bazzite which I’m having a lot more success with, although I only ran Mint for a very short amount of time and I find it hard to believe that I did anything to break it.
I’m starting to hit some points where the limitations of Bazzite are causing me some issues, such as wanting to install hdr10plus_tools, but I’m persevering and might move to another distro as I get more comfortable.
I’m primarily a gamer and have recently started to use my PC as a Jellyfin server when I’m not gaming. So I’m learning slowly. It’s now been 4 weeks since I’ve used Windows which hasn’t happened in the last 33 years since I first used 3.11.
I feel like the switch has been made and I’m going stick with it in one form ity another.
Tastes delicious but is not necessarily good for you. Can be hard on the outside while soft and fluffy inside. Is often the cheapest bread while offering little nourishment. Can make you feel bloated.

1·3 months agoTo be fair I had Linux Mint installed recently and audio broke on the first update. Never could fix it. I had to reinstall. I’m a total noob on Linux but my experience doesn’t seem that unusual based on the huge number of troubleshooting steps I tried from users experiencing similar issues.

I think it’s a plot to deal with climate change and eventually they will reduce the worlds population by 99.9% leaving the rich served by robots and AI.
