Non-American here: Colorado?
I don’t know many American symbols, but I’m sure that C flag is Colorado. Is it Colorado?
IndiBrony@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If you could have one life size cardboard cutout of anyone/anything you wanted, what would it be?English18·12 days agoAm I the only normal person in these comments?
I only want a life-size cutout of Danny Devito, and it’s only £40!
Listen, strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government!
Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony!
You can’t expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you!
I mean if I went round saying I was an emperor just because some moistened bint had thrown a scimitar at me, they’d put me away!

You don’t need any artistic skills to make a comic. Draw that shit on a napkin for all I care - if it’s a good joke, we’ll laugh. In fact, drawing it on a napkin would instantly increase the amount of charm ten-fold.
Can you run one locally on your phone?
IndiBrony@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's an example of economic irrationality you've observed in the world?English39·23 days agoI’m sure you could write an entire collection of books on the irrationality of Brexit.
As James O’Brien graciously puts it: “We are the first country in history to have placed economic sanctions upon itself”
This is for you, just for geeking out about ink and paper ❤️ have some Lemmy Gold 🪙
But yeah, I remember writing with fountain pens when I was at school, but I was awful with them.
I did get the hang of it after a point, though, and the writing was always beautiful when I got it working.
I may have to invest. It’ll give me an excuse to write some handwritten letters to friends and family ❤️
It’s amusing to me because back in 2006 when I went to college, I was the only person in class taking notes on my dinky 10" notebook laptop and I loved not having to carry around ridiculous amounts of bulky folders and paper. Nowadays, I have a 2-in-1 laptop and use a stylus to take notes instead!
Fuck Heinz in general. They don’t make things taste like actual things, just sweet crap.
Their tomato sauce is terrible. Tomatoes taste tangy, not sweet.
