That’s cool man, big up.
Hi! I’m British, I like music (grime, garage, hip-hop, R&B, and more!). I like art, culture, history, politics, & doomscrolling memes.
Also a touch of programming :)

It should work fine. Filtering by one instance will show all Lemmy content. You can use a script to ensure you always land back on your instance.
It’s still worth posting, a lot of people browse Lemmy only using the /all feed.
just filter by your instance, e.g google thing_youre_interested_in site:sh.itjust.works
are you guys just not aware you can filter by site?
guitar site:lemmy.world
Well, go on, don’t tease us, what are you after?
aw that’s a shame, I was hoping this would actually be a decent romp.
Hexbear used to be federated with sh.itjust.works. if you defederate, the old posts still continue to exist, hence the communities also still continuing to show.
This is a popular claim but dubious and probably not true https://skeptics.stackexchange.com/questions/40275/do-elephants-see-humans-the-same-way-humans-see-puppies
It’s better if you untick “show read posts” in your lemmy settings.
I made a list of casual communities on Lemmy awhile ago https://lemmy.world/post/2216085 just subscribe to stuff you like and curate your own feed. Block the politics subs. Boom.
Fall of Civilizations is one of the best history pods out there. Really thorough, in-depth episodes about empires in history.
Lobsters has blocked the Brave browser since a scam in 2019. We still block it because they lie about following standards so they scrape and sell copies of websites. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but they have previously targeted Lobsters by name and have a years-long pattern of bad behavior.
Well, that’s a new one. What you see if you visit it via Brave Browser.
I think maybe they’re testing things on a regional basis and it just hasn’t hit me yet. I dunno, either way I’m happy for now lol
Excellent answer :)
I did play the original many, many years ago. I was thinking of trying it again recently…
There is no risk, creamapi also doesn’t require any executables, nor does the DLC :) But fair enough.
Buy game, pirate DLC. You can use creamapi to unlock everything.
In Ecosia’s settings you can set it to primarily use Google results instead of Bing. Makes it a lot more enjoyable to use.
