  • LLMs are an okay’ish tool if your code style is not veering from what 99% of the open-sourced codebase looks like. Use any fringe concept in a language (for example, treat errors as values in languages ridden with exceptions, use functional concepts in an OOP language) and you will have problems.

Also, this crap tends to be an automated copy-paste. Which is especially bad when it skips on abstracting away a concept you would notice if you were to write the code yourself.

    Source: own experience 😄

    • Equipment: yeah, I have a decent set of speakers at home and headphones to listen while on the move. Sound quality matters, so a decent set is worth it for me.
    • Albums vs random: I got used to listening stuff album-wise (with some albums not doing listening to their entirety takes away from the experience). As for favorites:
      • “Feathers & Flesh” and “Dance Devil Dance” by Avatar,
      • “Dead & Alive” by Parasite Inc.,
      • “Faceless” and “The Oracle” - Godsmack.
      • “Mezmerize” - SOAD
    • Listening as the only activity: yeah, though more often than not I listen to music to drown out the world.
    • Talk with others about it: too often. Though I’m afraid there’s very little ppl in my immediate surroundings that can dig into what I listen to 😅
    • Spending time searching for music: not anymore, have a base I enjoy.
    • Art or content: art. The feeling of chills going down my spine on a particularily well-constructed chorus / instrumental part is like no other feeling for me.

  • Never bothered with Queen of Cards quest, as the walkthrough of that is… Sizable, to say the least. Also, there’s only one relatively decent reward out of it (Doomtrain).

As for CC: they are a source of all rare cards besides the ones Queen has. Thus, if you want to have Vit/Str/HP Ups - they’re your best bet (also, getting enough of those makes Omega Weapon fight a breeze, you can reliably kill it without ever reaching Megido Flame and foregoing Holy War usage).

But yeah… Triple Triad is fun, especially since it translates to sth that will impact your game.

EDIT: also, you can get 3x100 Flare on your entire party on the first disc, but it’s a major PITA to get (iirc, 300 Red Dragon cards, so good fuckin’ luck). So yeah… Triple Triad brekas the game if you have the patience for it 😄

EDIT 2: also also, Queen of Cards is available at the crash site on Disc 3 as well

  • Weird. On one hand, everything is dandy. On the other… Self-hatred is simply weighing down on me and while I know I have to work on it, it’s been 2-steps-forward-1.5-steps-back type of deal.

Human psyche is fucked up. You can have everything you might need, be as successful as you can be, but if there’s anything gnawing at you, no matter how small it might be, it will murderfuck you to the deepest pits of mental hell

Tbh, while it is funny out-of-context, I encountered the same exact thing (and I can guaran-fuckin-tee the offender used copilot for this).

It’s not funny to be on the receiving end of this, ESPECIALLY in professional environment, where you should not react like that 😅

  • 2 flavors of Fedora with KDE on it:

    1. Aurora-DX for some dev work on the side. Once you get used to distroboxing / devcontainers, it’s rock-solid and mean dev environment (saw some minor issues with how certain GUI apps were scaled, but that’s about it).
    2. Nobara for gaming (tried Bazzite and it’d prolly work for that purpose as well).

Unfortunately, had to keep Windows on one other machine (fuck you KORG for not providing anything working on Linux), but that’s limited to being a glorified music player now 😄
