Also old users don’t remember long commands if we use a command more than once. You save it to your bash alias file to create your own commands.
A good example for this is docker compose -f when you work alot if compose files ! Having an alias for docker compose -f as dcf saves hours a month xD

Was difficult at times and had a few breakdowns (most got fixed the next day… Sleep/taking some time off really helps !!!)

cd to each directory in a separated shell for each directory (keeps the mount points busy)Only then you are able to install your OS with calamares on a LVM filesystem hierarchy…Except this is a 5 years long issue/bug and they are discussing to drop LVM support :/.

Another option and a more long term solution would be to go back to the roots and relearn the basics of living !
How to grow a garden, How to hunt, How to build a small wooden house, how to make fire and then rebuild the technology but only the needed ones.
If we grew things and dug together the rare ores to make solar panels together, build small wind turbines, waterwheels as a community hands by hands… We would probably profit more and enjoy ourselves way more than ever…
Regardless we prefer being held hostage by our own limitations and technology constraints… Not blaming anyone here except myself, It’s just a sad though we could all live happy in a more green state without this mass nonsense technology…

I guess Ubuntu? 10 years ago or even more? can’t remember… Tried it for a bit but didn’t stick at first and went back to Windows until 2020.
Installed my first homelab and selfhosted application on my old spare laptop with Debian (only over command line).
So I gave Linux desktop another try… Ubuntu for a few days => Manjaro for a few days => EndeavourOS !
Got hooked and are now a proud EOS user for about 3 years and never will I look back into Windows !
I’m still in the learning process, but in the long run I will probably switch to bare bone Arch.

- Copy 1Gb movie to flash drive, says it’s done in 10 seconds. Try to remove the flash drive, still in use. Turns out it’s actually still copying.
This is not distro related but GNU/Linux and a known “issue” for over decades ! Everything gets into you ram memory and gets dumped from there into your USB storage device.
