If I were to put 40 litres of diesel in a barrel in my backyard and set it alight I’d get in a heap of trouble. If I put it in my car and drive a 400km it’s acceptable. That’s two jerry cans worth.

FWIW I tend to block power users on whatever site I’m on. It feels like going to a party and having three people come and stand between you and the party. I also block a ton of meme and nonsense groups, that’s not why I come to lemmy.

I was required to read both of those books for school. I’d say they’re already required reading, or at least were.

Oh my god I just finished that. I’m not a big reader and it was such a fucking drag from the second half of the book. Good action in the fist few chapters and I liked the old timey sci fi lingo but a total wankfest as you say.
