Moooom, shut the door, I’m with my friends!!
Mine is not as loquacious
Tried to order a croissant at a gas station in Oregon once — I lived there, but my French accent turns croissant into a whole performance.
The Mexican woman behind the counter couldn’t see what I meant (glass case + clutter) or understand, we both laughed a lot, and I ended up with the croissant and a breakfast burrito.
Could’ve been worse.
BOMBA CALABRESE. Sorry, I can’t say it in lowercase. It’s just crushed peperoncini and oil. Yummmmm I put it on pizza, in soup, curry, stew, I dip my cheeses and fingers in it.
Cholula for eggs but it’s hard to find around here.
I’ll be on the lookout for Valentina as it’s been brought up often in this thread.
Those bathroom products could be mine. Are you a freezy hair/curly hair hopeful person?
In the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland, kids go door to door and sing to receive a little bit of change. I don’t know where exactly why or when it started but I moved from one canton to the other when I was a kid and opening the door over and over for people sining in front of you was a surreal experience my first year. The following, I went singing myself :)
It’s not the absence of youth that makes women less beautiful. It’s the absence of representation.
Men at 45: “distinguished.” Women at 45: “expired.” It’s not biology—it’s storytelling. We don’t see ugly old men as ugly—we see them as powerful, confidant, sexy. We don’t see aging women at all.
That’s not nature. That’s propaganda

I didn’t think of that. All of those are good points.
Ouuuuh, look at those knees you slut
Type 2 fun and overthinking. I am good at enjoying both.
Bouldering: I enjoy it, even though I’m not great at it. My short wingspan doesn’t help, and neither does my fear of heights. Every climb is a mix of determination and second-guessing my life choices and I’m excellent at the latest.
Gardening: It sounds relaxing, but in reality, it’s a cycle of overthinking. First, I stress about planting. Then I wait. And once/if it grows, there’s a whole lineup of threats: slugs, cats, deer, boars, hail… basically, everything conspiring against success. Not sure what I enjoy about it but I’d say I am moderately successful and can eat a self planted potato every year

Awww, that’s sad! There are plenty here in the region in Italy.
Haha… but honestly, doesn’t he look ridiculous? With a step back, all of those humanity stuff are sooooo ridiculous. And yet, it feels so heavy

You mean… You can … Bottle up petrichore ??? How come is there no wide range of perfume/candle/lotion and whatnot?
Can I make it at home, if so, how would I go about it with everyday items? Can streptomyces cause health issues?
I was thinking Ents as in Ent trees and couldn’t remember when in the LOTR Q-tips were used against Ents…
