Well, to be fair, my old Series 4 was a refurb, so the waterproofing likely wasn’t factory fresh.

I had the Series 4 awhile back, and it died after a very shallow dip in the water. Took the opportunity to upgrade to the Ultra 1, and I see absolutely no reason to upgrade past it. It isn’t fundamentally different than… well, the other Apple Watches, beyond having a button you can’t set to do anything particularly useful and having an ever so slightly larger screen (which is the main reason I got it).

They do this in the French course. Half the time it still can’t understand what I’m saying. Maybe that’s on me, but still. C’est la vie.

I’m glad I did so just before Trump got elected again. I’m also glad I got a GPU when I did, despite the ridiculous cost.

None, they’re hardware region locked because they didn’t want scalpers buying up the cheaper Japanese units and selling them elsewhere. I believe manufacturing is split between regions as well, though I’m not sure to what degree.

The moral of the story is don’t put someone under too much pressure or get them too heated, otherwise they’ll go gender critical.

Social media simply allows people to post things publicly. The fact that one feels more anonymous when doing so is a side effect of the human condition, not the fault of the platforms. What this has led to is a rise in the visibility of extremist thinking, allowing those that would normally hide those views to see that others share them. As such people will congregate to places online where they feel welcome for the views they hold. Again, this is just human nature.

Now, could social media platforms do more to curb extremist viewpoints? Sure, but you run into privacy issues and… well, we’re already dealing with that, so if they’re going to track everything people say anyway they might as well try to make their platforms less vitriolic. But they don’t, because they’d lose users, and users are the only metric by which their platforms make any kind of income.

Every browser on iOS is just Safari wrapped in a different skin because of Apple’s requirements.

I personally feel that the presentation in Valhalla is superior, but it’s a gigantic game as well.

Baldur’s Gate 3! And, by extension, all of the Forgotten Realms games.

Of the latest few games, it’s the weakest. Not bad by any means, but nowhere near, say, Valhalla.
