Thanks! The sub is pretty bare because I just can’t find much on Libertarian Socialism. But I have it there so when I do occasionally run across something, I throw it in there. :)

But yeah, I am freakin’ loving the DOGE stuff. It’s hilarious how may Lemmy people are just hating on it because of Musk and Trump. If Bernie or AOC would have started this thing, Lemmy would have stars in their eyes. Because sooo much money is being wasted by the government.

I’m a Libertarian Socialist. So trust me, I’m all about a lot of Libertarian values. I even created a sub called Libertarian Socialism. !libertariansocialism@sh.itjust.works

But since most people don’t know about Libertarian stuff, I just shorthand it and go with Socialist when describing myself.

I actually grew up in the town that started the Libertarian Party here in the US.

But friend, the last US Libertarian Party candidate SUCKED! He had zero charisma.

The US Libertarian Party has a lot of great goals, but they need to work on getting better candidates.

I am socialist.

I don’t write the articles, friend. You don’t have to read them. Posting something I find interesting doesn’t mean I subscribe to all the points of view in an article.

Yep, agreed. I DO think most of it is keyboard warriors LARPing.

But some were severe enough that I reported to FBI and secret service hotline.

So lemmy is at least on government radar now.

Lemmy’s going this direction as well. In fact, I personally reported some links and communities to the FBI tip hotline.

And they called me back and we discussed it. I know a lot of Lemmy isn’t US-based, but a lot of users are. Especially the ones I reported.

I don’t give a fuck how mad about shit that Lemmy is; calling for murder, armed revolution, and saying “Let’s Luigi him!” is bullshit and should be stopped.

So just in case anyone missed it, and they wanna be even more pissed at me: I reported some Lemmy communities and posts to the FBI tipline.

And my local state’s FBI called me back the very next day. So yes people, report. It works.

Mine have been awesome. I was always pretty strict about exercising and eating healthy, but I moved it up a notch and so far so good.
