Is that a racist term? I’d only ever heard it as an elongated version of ‘cum’.

With a ring light and phone setup? That man is live streaming his feet.
I’ve been curious lately if the original Ape Escape is as good as I remember. I heard the sequels weren’t as good, but I have fond memories of the first game on PS1.

I tried watching My Hero Academia with a friend and it was rough. Basically every trope that made me burn out on anime was dialed up to 11. My friend tried to explain that it was satirizing those tropes, but I couldn’t handle it.

My primary complaint about season 2 is that it’s faster paced. But if the pacing’s not your style then season 2 would not be worth the grind.
adhocfungus@midwest.socialto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What popular TV show did not do it for you and you quit watching?301·20 days agoYellowstone. With shows like The Sopranos or Sons of Anarchy you know the characters are evil, but you can connect just enough for it to be compelling.
In Yellowstone it feels like they want you to see the characters as the heros, when they are mass-murdering, slave-owning oligarchs. They buy cops and politicians to gain power, but get bent on revenge if other powers don’t “play by the rules”. I didn’t last too long, but everyone else seems to love it.

This is also my guess.
I want to argue with you, but that’s pretty accurate. The only time I’ll admit I’m at fault is if I know who actually screwed up. I’ll say, “My mistake, I’ll get that fixed right away,” then I’ll privately message the real culprit.
But if I know it was me then I’m picking one off this list and kicking the can down the road. I’m the stereotypical lazy and spineless programmer.
I have a good '08 car that I bought with cash 10 years ago for $3000. I got it from a guy who exclusively sells and fixes this model of car. I went back last year to get my car fixed and looked at the cars he was selling. '08s were starting at $5000.

Exactly. Everyone at work uses it to cut the chain of “Looks good”, “Thanks”, “No problem”, etc short. If you’re interpreting an emoji as an attack you might have anger issues.

About once per week I do something stupid and use all available memory, but it hasn’t crashed once. It just runs a bit slow until I free up some RAM, then Docker comes back to life once I free up some disk space. I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a server OS that just works.
Exactly. I was in the same boat as OP because my GPA was trash. I probably missed some opportunities because of it when trying to land my first job. But after I got one in my field, I was never asked for my GPA again, or even evidence that I went to college. Employers only want to know what you did in your last job, and only default to grades or diplomas if you have no relevant work history.
