I wonder if now is the time to get a PS5, under the assumption that ones produced in the future will have a different root key and thus be non-exploitable. I have a Xbox now but that platform is dead in the water. And Steam Machines will be hideously expensive due to insane hardware prices.

Intentionally setting them up for failure with no chance of success. I’ve had bosses like that.

People fucking obsess over them. I really don’t get it. Not only is the music boring and bland, but they’re so fucking smug. I’m not allowed to express this anywhere.

I started working when I was 14, selling hot dogs at a hot dog cart for an absolute crook. His wife hit on me a lot.

Anyway, it was nice to have my own money and it kept me busy instead of getting into trouble or whatever. I got good grades so my parents thought it was fine. In hindsight, I learned a lot from it so it was a net positive.

For whatever reason, this is clearly a sore spot for them. No reason to blow you up about it, sheesh. This isn’t some Tommy Boy situation we’re talking about.

IMO, LLMs are a tool which are sometimes useful; I like appending a question mark to a query to get a quick answer. But I agree that the AI work should be kept to a minimum. At least they are using models which are far more sustainable and lightweight.

I think it might be one or both of:

• people are sick of seeing it mentioned. I’m not a shill, I just really like the product.
• they are indignant about Kagi occasionally using Yandex when it compiles search results

In both cases, meh. I’m answering the OP question with my opinion, and hopefully somebody finds it useful.

I’ve been doing this since forever. The best part is that it costs money for them to send these spam emails, so they’re wasting money when they send to that account 😈
