You’re using the old script from when your org was still called shareblue. Please see the updated script that acknowledges that Trump was already president and the oligarchy masquerading as a democracy in fact survived unharmed.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What could I do with the digital screens from discarded vapes?English42·7 months agoMake a larger screen. Large format displays these days are just grids of square led panels that are individually addressable, do that but with the small screens to make a normal monitor sized large format display.
Or a cube. Cubes are always good.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why do American ballots have more than two choices, when the news media has spent their time pretending there are only two?English511·7 months agoOh that’s cute, you think the legislatures and judicial branches will allow mass adoption.
If states can override ballot measures regarding legal cannabis, and they have repeatedly, they can override this. Neither side of the duopoly has any interest in losing power.

I think NK finally broke SKs propaganda machine by being overtly defensive as they have always been.

Only because Harris is black. A racist, sexist, classist conservative woman who spent a good chunk of her life locking up minorities for life over non violent crimes and attempting keep wrongly convicted citizens behind bars? Thatcher loves all of that.

And I’m truly sorry you’re too much of a brainwashed nationalist to understand why free software shouldn’t be affected by petty politics.

Linux@lemmy.ml•tension on kernel mailing lists continues to grow as a Linux Foundation board member finally replies with a "summary of the legal advice the kernel is operating under" re: enforcing US sanctionsEnglish175·7 months agoIt’s better in the long term, free software and the political philosophy behind it is entirely incompatible with American political ideology or geopolitics generally. If everyone can contribute, everyone can benefit. When you start limiting this by arbitrary nonsensical reasoning due to legal obligations you only have because the founder of the foundation has a boner for an idealized America that never existed… Shit gets worse. From this many developers are going to permanently leave Linux development and a few may get petty enough to change their license to prevent use in Linux.

Linux@lemmy.ml•tension on kernel mailing lists continues to grow as a Linux Foundation board member finally replies with a "summary of the legal advice the kernel is operating under" re: enforcing US sanctionsEnglish1312·7 months agoEither the death of the Linux Foundation or the exclusion of the Linux foundation from kernel development for at least a few versions. In any case Linus likely used the last of his goodwill in proving he’s more American than any other descriptor.
I’m sorry, even if you go back to the original Russian empire, no entity or arbitrary collection of entities containing a “Russia” has invaded more countries or killed more civilians than the US.
That’s the plain fact of the matter. Invading more than 70 countries does that.
Russia bad, the US is and will always be worse.
