You guys have time at work to use your phone at all?

That’s if you don’t work saturday and sunday. I do.

Where I live that’s the most common lifestyle, so my view is molded by that

When you work 10 hours a day of hard labor work ( both mentally and physically ) and you come home to a farm, do some cycling/strenght training with weights on the side you do need 8-9 hours of sleep every day ( I on average do 24k steps a day so somewhat active )

Purpose is to keep everyone in check ti be nice humans.
Does the one here fullfill that? HELL NO

Lol, where I live we still learn to drive on manuals since 99% of cars owned here are manuals and I literally don’t see how learning to drive and a manual at the same time is such a problem.

To bypass that I always just let shifter go back to the middle and then I change the speed.
Yes it takes avay 0.3 seconds to do but allowed me to never money shift and be able to overtake cars without doing it either.

Here it’s know as a e brake, and for me at some point forn a few days was my main brake after my brake pedal broke but I still needed to get to work.
Was fun learning how to use it on how to stop on a highway.
Luckilly I don’t dream so never happened to me

Sir ( Croatian/Bosnian/Serbian )

If you ask me, if done correctly it’s very satisfying when parying, feels like a rhythm game.

Just how often does the topic of what languaes you know come uo that you really must think about this?
I guess I have it also then, since I can’t really create mental images, but do have up go 100 diff voices talking at times when I’m trying to solve anything.
I haven’t “dreamed” in so many years ( close to 7 now ) it must be unhealthy, doesn’t matter if I sleep 3 hoursor 12, no dreams ( atleast one’s I can remember )

Honestly none. I don’y have thr expendable income to do that.
If I had, it couled easilly be 50+ youtubers, podcasters open source software devs, …

I personally don’t use drugs, alchohol, … to cope with reality. I ahve accepted it with how it is and that’s it.
I do occasionally alchohol ( beer mostly ) once half a year by doing a death in elden ring or game i, that ballpark where I die I drink some alch, but that’s just for fun to see how well I fare.
As for coffe ( you mentioned it in another comment ) I just drink it when I have soneone to drink it with.
Stuff like cigs and drugs I never tried ( even thought I had a shitton of chances to try to ) because I never felt like I needed them, even when I wen’t throught some very big depressed episodes.
I mostly just accepted things how they are and try to fill my days with stuff that bring me joy and fullfilment, I don’t try to escape from those feelings, but live alongside them.

Not good, most people live paycheck to paycheck. High unemploynent rate when not summer because we only have jobs in tourist season which is summer. If you aren’t living in a bigger city 0 public transport.
If you live in smaller cities/countryside you will most likelly be forced to drive at minimum 10km to closest store’s, or 60+km to closest er and 100+ km to any decent hospital that’s any good.
And let me not starting about the fact we adopted euro recently and the inflation which mak£s us try to survive on 850 euro wage with 500 euro rent and food costs where just one day trip to the store will eat up 25 euro minimally.
As a tourist atraction croatia is amazing, but as a place to live in it’s not unless you are lucky and came from outside the balkans, in chich case you can thrive in the country as shown by a lot of americans who come ti live in Croatia after living on high wage jobs there and having expendable money ( average yearly income here barelly passes 12k euro last time I checked ).

Croatia, I live there.

I started robotics at 12, started linux aroumd the same time but had to use windows for the program used for robotics competitions,
Stopped attending them at 14 so started using arch right after that and used it for 6 years.
After that used gentoo for a year at 20, and now I’m 21 using nixos.
I also started selfhosting with linix vps-s at around the age of 18, with debian. And last week started to move all my server to nixos with nixos-anywhere and deploying the server with deploy-rs.
Might make a blogpost on my selfhosting journey and on how I use nixos for selfhosting. Haven’t made a post since the start of the year.
I have a 5060ti 16gb version and don’t experience any issues with frame pacing and stuff like that on nixos, while when I tried bazzite I was experiencing some issues with the gpu.
It’s most likely a bazzite specific issue, especially if you use something like the steamos interface.
For example my monitor is a 160hz monitor that support’s gsync, but if I enable global gsync in any wayland compositor the bottom part of my screen is cut off and experience weird vissual bugs, but if I make them only enable gsync on my steam games when they are fullscreen I don’t experience that issue. The steamos session inside of bazzite doesn’t have that feature, so when it enables gsync I experience that same issue of cut off part of the screen with weird visual issues.
