In the western hemisphere there is also the Bat Falcon (they are known to hunt hummingbirds too). In Africa there is the Pygmy Falcon.

And the smallest falcon in the world is in Malaysia: Black-thighed Falconet

typically measuring between 14–16 centimetres (5.5–6.3 in) long, with a 27–32 centimetres (11–13 in) wingspan, which is a size comparable to a typical sparrow

This falconet mainly feeds on insects, including moths, butterflies, dragonflies, alate termites and cicadas, occasional small birds, and lizards. Feeding behavior appears to often be social, with feeding parties up to ten recorded.

According to Federal spending data, the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Defense Logistics Agency paid the companies more than $4 million since 2011, though it’s unclear how much of that business involved re-labeled forklifts. The company also had contracts with other federal agencies like the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security.

    lmao

Federal authorities allege that the forklifts were actually produced at a factory in Zhejiang, China, and shipped to U.S. ports in California, Washington and Puerto Rico. U.S. customs agents applied a 25% tariff on the imported forklifts, a levy imposed by the Trump administration in 2018.

so they were paying Trump tariffs in the Chinese forklifts, and this was still a profitable scheme lol, how much of a price gap are we talking about with US govt contracts?

The three executives and two companies were charged with wire fraud and conspiring to bring goods into the U.S. under false statements. The men could face 20- and five-year sentences and up to $500,000 in fines.

    yea

In a 2012 ruling by the Supreme Court on the issue, some of the judges on the panel discussed demography, and were inclined to accept that demography is a legitimate consideration in devising family reunification policies that violate the right to family life.

Those in favor of the law say the law not only limits the possibility of the entrance of terrorists into Israel, but, as Ze’ev Boim asserts, allows Israel “to maintain the state’s democratic nature, but also its Jewish nature” (i. e., its Jewish demographic majority).
