As someone who moved to a remote countryside area 2 years ago, I can tell you that we regret it and are looking to move back to a more populated area. Do an extended trip there or a year sabbatical in a rental and then you’ll know for sure.

Benefit of portainer is that it teaches people new to this how it works and makes it accessible. Then they can learn other tools and grow from there. Immediately throwing people into CLI can scare them off or be intimidating.

I’ve decided to stop using them and have switched to LingoDeer and MemRise. Really pleased with how much better they are.
