This is an unpopular take, but that is reality. It really is affordable out here! If you want more income, learn to repair reliable japanese beaters and commute a little. It’s less busy than the city, and it may bore some, but it keeps the bills paid, the kids fed, and the 401k growing.

If you think starting a new ecosystem and expecting it to be “good, next gen, priced competitively” is feasible via volunteer work anytime soon, I want whatever you’re smoking :)

The experience is fairly similar to my old pixel with grapheneos like this. I am sure it is far cry from as secure, but I am realistic about my threat model and am willing to make trades to be more sustainable and convenient. The only other difference is the system ui skin, which does its job just fine IMO

Mullvad disabled port forwarding. Bad for torrents. That was when everyone I know stopped using it.

I just rebuilt mine and can confirm that most of those resume template builders utilize a lot of word doc “hacks” to format everything, and loading and LibreOffice breaks it.

Yes things aren’t great in a lot of ways, but there is still great amounts of creativity and innovation all around us. If you stick to algorithms and pop culture to find it, you will be disappointed, but if you put some work in to find gems among the artists at work today, you can still find very inspiring work.
What??? Where did you see this? I would assume the mobile market is still skyrocketing.
