I really enjoyed that as a child, even did a display in the library. Good recommendation
I’m trying to selfhost some Lemmy communities just for fun :)
Buddhist, researcher, FOSS, Linux, selfhosting enthusiast, plantbased, anarchism and MLM interested.
Trying to be nice. I really dislike the Reddit style aggressive comments. If you are rude I will block and ban you.

Don’t tell dbshitter that
Hong Kong is so beautiful this time of year
Time to read boring and limited lemmy content, or unlimited and toxic reddit content, or maybe nerd/lib/person pretending to have a job HN
Mig-21 is best
Your theory sounds legit
A lot of pirated content sites are Russian. This just feels ignorant or racist.
Being “private” and having a discord is like an oxymoron.
I only see a front end on GitHub. Is this just a libgen mirror?
My partner is overly anxious about our child safety often worrying about things to an unhealthy extent. When sitting the infant up their head moved “too quickly” making my partner worry. After having to say multiple times the child is obviously fine, the child stood up and starts slamming their head into the bed, thinking it’s a game. They’d stand up and jump backwards onto the soft bed. Then sit up and slam their head forward. Just fun rough play at this age. I belly laughed harder than I have in a least two years.
After frequently “getting in trouble” over minor things like this, it just made me lose it that my child did the exact action my partner worried so much about but 30x more forceful because they thought it was funny. Hahaha! Infants are actually hilarious and make the first year of pain worth it.
Just now I hugged my child and said say daddy 叫爸爸 they then build up such a forceful “baba” that it takes them 10 seconds before they release their lips like a sneeze that makes you freeze.
Yesterday they also got upset to the point of crying that I wouldn’t let them have their infant scissors but they finally got to them when I wasn’t looking. Then when I caught them, instead of crying again they played it off smoothly by acting like they picked them up to give them to me lol
My clear point was a revolution is one thing but running the country so well ever since is their real success story :)
Yes, that’s literally what I responded to. Governance is their real success story is my obvious point
Why are you arguing that their military movement is what made them successful? Vietnam is successful from their governance not because many died.
I like how the circle also looks like America and Hawaii and parts of Canada are not included lol
Thanks for writing that out. That’s very interesting! Have been meaning to replay these games :)
That’s funny about the carrot turning
Use the block and report buttons. People can be rude. People act like lemmy is somehow better but it’s just redditors who like tech.
Also, fuck you!
Yes but it wasn’t my only job. I was fine at work, boss was nice, one nice coworker, one annoying one. Then he asked us to go to a convention. Well they were both horrible to me those couple days so I just stopped talking to my coworkers. The day I left I just walked out and didn’t say anything.
Boss ended up being rude too. I had asked for a raise after working there for many years as one of the earliest employees and the most underpaid and he ignored me twice.
Could you share what points you liked? I’m ten minutes in and he’s just yapping about nothing so far. Curious to know but so far it’s been tedious
It’s because they typically put a lot of sugar in it when cooking for westerns. Lots of sugar, carbs, and oil equals sugar crash and gout
