I was in a meeting today that was supposed to only last 30 minutes, but ended up almost 1.5 hours because the PM spent 45 minutes complaining about a design, before they even read the design, then spent the next 30 minutes after being explained the design walking back their complaints without ever admitting fault or acknowledging they were wrong.
The worst part? Just an average Friday sync.

rational discourse on IRC
Hahahahahahahaha

To be fair all the “dancing around and jumping through hoops” is enabling developer mode (which is just a switch in the extension settings) and turning back on manifest 2 in chrome://flags then just reloading the extension.
I’m more curious how a hot water main works? Is there just millions of miles of heated pipes underground? And I thought a gas boiler was inefficient.
Just playing devil’s advocate but that’s 0.40 to you, but to a server who might wait on 100 people a week, that’s $40.

Stacking draw cards is in the rules book, at least for uno no mercy. It says you could only stack equal to or higher.
Brain surgery is like a fart, putting it off for too long is going to cause major health issues.
I don’t want to spend any time with my in-laws and I’m over 40.

I live in a decidedly middle class area and people driving golf carts around is super common. Some communities even have their own golf cart paths to the local grocery stores, and those stores have dedicated gold cart parking.
It’s very common at least in the US south east.

I suspect you don’t have kids? Most schools require a laptop (usually Chromebooks). What do you do then other than parental controls?
I second the multi-monitior comment. I absolutely love my fold and I think that’s a great analogy.
It’s hard to say it’s worth the money though. I personally think it is, but I wouldn’t recommend most people spend $1500+ on a phone in general unless they have a really specific use case.
I have a Pixel 9 Fold and I absolutely love it. I don’t think I can ever go back to a regular phone.
That said, the fingernail thing isn’t a myth. I have a “scratch” (more like an indent) where I tried to clean something off the screen with my fingernail. It’s not bad and just like the fold, it’s only visible in certain lights, so it doesn’t bother me but you definitely have to be more careful with the inner screen than the outer. Though I suspect it’s the built in screen protector, not the actual screen.

I have some bad news about farmers for you…
I don’t know what this text is going on about. People don’t wash the ‘white shit’ off chicken. Some people think that washing chicken (or poultry in general) reduces the chance of cross contamination due to salmonella. In reality it makes it more likely for cross contamination because it splatters all around your sink and surrounding areas.
It also doesn’t make it taste bland. It’s just useless.

As someone who has only been training for a couple years, that’s the point, no? Martial Arts is a self defense. The first lesson is always de-escalation and then removing yourself from the situation.
For future reference, double space at the end of a line to start a new line, double enter to skip a line.

I have a row of macro keys on my keyboard on the left side. I thought I’d be smart and add copy and paste macros (that were near mm’s away from Ctrl) and I never used them.
Muscle memory would always take over and I’d Ctrl+C Ctrl+V. I realized it would take more work to train myself to use the macro keys (and God forbid I used a different keyboard) than I was saving not having to press a key combination

Same on windows. Works in most applications except some Microsoft Office apps (like Excel and Word) that have a separate “past as text” option.
Yea, dongle is just objectively wrong.
