Hellraiser

Registered for a fan run Nancy Drew -esque 3 day event in WA for 2026. Went to the one this year and it was a blast, registered right before it filled up.

The Dark Tower. Everything. An 8 book series smashed into 1 terrible movie. Who ever green lit that should be fired.

The best advice I learned from my manager was 2 parts.

1. Try and understand their point of view, you may need to adjust your actions if their point of view is seeing you as not helpful/annoying (looking back i was being very obnoxious, sending too many emails)

2. Have a work self and a non work self. I was very shy and that was not looked highly on at my job so I tried my best little by little to open up more

These really helped me in my career.

Somebody Somewhere reminds me of me after college. Felt like I was just on auto pilot, wouldn’t go outside my comfort zone unless pushed, and used alcohol to numb the pain.

Oh I’m currently playing Frostborn and am enjoying it. I will say it just sort of puts you in the game with no tutorial for a lot of things it should tell you.

I always end up going back to Chasing Shadows at some point though, nostalgic fun!
