If you’re rejecting online music streaming and wanting music in physical form, CDs look a lot more practical. CDs are smaller, less delicate, and don’t physically degrade every time you play them. CD playback hardware needs essentially zero maintenance and is crazy cheap still.

Could it be for nostalgia? But I’ve seen people younger than peak vinyl get into music on records. They wouldn’t have any nostalgia for vinyl.

Is it for the sound quality? But I’ve seen chiptune albums available on records! It would be truer to the music to load it onto a real Game Boy or something.

Any black forest cake that’s not from Regent Bakery and Cafe is a lie.

Tenet (2025)

I don’t even remember what led me to this, but watching the Amazing Race has been my latest guilty pleasure. The Amazing Race Canada, too. TAR still has all the super-dramatic reality TV editing and music but is way less focused on interpersonal conflict. It’s the places and tasks that make it interesting.

Compared to the US show, the Canadian show is way lower budget and milder in vibes, but the Canadian host is way more enthusiastic. He actually does the challenges while explaining them.

Fantastic movie that deserves its Golden Globe

First one isn’t even metal. But yes. Not doing that is why anyone even remembers Party Cannon.
