The meme seems to miss the concept of Theocracy entirely.
It’s not the religion forcing compliance, it’s the agents within the state.
It’s pointing out the overreach of religion that can lead to theocracy. It’s their religion, rules, punishment, etc. that they force on others.
The current Trump approach is to force anyone he thinks is a dissident out of the country.
